Thanks for your blog it is really helpful to me. Please I have a little question, how do I cost my cakes I mean how do I charge when I bake for people. I am a bit new and people complain about my pricing - they say my cakes are too expensive!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteThere is really no hard and fast rules about costing your cakes, you have to take into consideration what other people around you are charging and also the quality of your cakes.
ReplyDeletePeople will always complain since they know you are just starting out in a bid to get lower prices. And if you reduce your price now, it will be almost impossible for you to increase your price later.
Ensure you add up the cost of ingredients, add a fraction for gas and labour and profit.
