Fruit cake is one of my favorite cakes. Traditionally fruit cakes are used for wedding cakes and Christmas cake. Because of the alcohol in fruit cake they remain edible for long.
Today I am going to share with you the simplest fruit cake recipe I know.

The paper helps to prevent your cake from sticking to your pan when you bring it out of the pan. If you live in Nigeria brown paper is available in bookshop and even some street shops that sell books. If you leave outside Nigeria, use patchment paper is also readily availble. Do let us know how your cake turns out.
